Other considerations
Many estimates show that direct printing saves significant sums of money. It is always worth running test prints to see if it is a suitable alternative and get a clear estimate of costs for you specific print requirements. It should be noted that the colour of the cardboard may need to considered for certain applications. White will give the maximum value for using barcodes but brown boxes will carry these quite well also.
